A 26-year old woman was killed when she was struck by an RTD light rail train near 24th and Welton, according to 9NEWS.com. Witnesses say that Jessica Lubken had stood on the tracks and waved the train to a stop, then stepped to the side of the train and was dragged under it as it began to run again. RTD spokesman Scott Reed could not comment on the details of the accident while it is pending investigation.
